I think Volpe was really close to the line where he was failing too much a la Kelenic that it was hurting his development. He straightened out his swing and he’s been pretty solid of late. What’s encouraging about him is that his defense didn’t suffer because of his bat.

I’m a Yankee fan and I definitely try to be reasonable but it was looking rough for a second there. Part of the development process
