Friends, its the weekend. Been a real short week but I dont mind the weekend showing up early one little bit. I hope its gonna be a good one for us all. Mines gonna be a little busier than I'd like but whatcha gonna do.

had a miserable vet appointment (eggy is ok, just was uncooperative) and picked up my third pair of glasses in as many weeks the glasses are good and eggy is back to being himself, so i guess all good. ready for a whole lotta nothin

so I'ma be real with y'all here for a minute. I dont really wanna do the weekend threads any more. I started doin em as basically therapy to try and make it through the week and idk if it worked or what but i dont really have the issues i was having any more. If these threads are useful to people as they were useful to me, I'm happy to keep em going. If someone else would like to step up and volunteer to do the next weekend thread, thats good too.

up at 6am to try to get sunrise did this last week and arrived a bit later and missed the best part which was about an hour before sunrise itself so today going half an hour earlier but it’s clear skies so today I think gonna get no glorious sky but we will get actual sunrise it’s cold af

going to eat a low dose of mushrooms and go sailing with some friends tomorrow. hopefully i can stop at hook fish co on the way home. god drat i want some fish tacos. after a long day of being high and hanging out, i think i will use sunday to relax.

not quite.. the weekend! i will post otters anyway as the people demand them  rotor posted:I dont really wanna do the weekend threads any more. while this is sad news for us, we are all thankful for your service and video nasty for taking the torch i don't plan on much this weekend. i am going to refresh my shingles vaccine and get a covid booster on saturday, if that's big news.. other than that i need to mentally prepare for another job requirement cert thanks to being reclassified to senior despite my objections hopefully no adverse reaction to the booster

after not having a weekend last week thanks to the plague [not covid, turns out fisher stevens from "hackers" really messed up my apartment] I'm looking forward to mild fun and outside time in the sun

i like the weekend threads anyway gonna finish the chicken coop move. got the base? foundation? in place, just need to get my neighbor over to help lift the structure into place. my kid has her dance recital this weekend and her class is doing a k-pop mix so that'll be fun to see. other than that, not much planned. might clean up my workshop and get going on some of these projects that were on hold all winter.
