So the dishwasher started leaking on April 30th. Notified the landlady about it the next day. She wanted pics then went radio silent. Paid a guy to diagnose the problem (I took the fees out of May’s rent). Cost of repair was more than it would be to replace the whole thing. Told the landlady, mentioned water damage was likely. Got absolutely nothing from her. Gave her a week before we scheduled repairs. Landlady got back to us just in time for us to cancel repairs. She says she will get a replacement dishwasher. This is 2 weeks after the leak has been discovered. She goes silent again despite our texts/calls. I realize belatedly she waited for Memorial Day weekend sales to buy a dishwasher. Dishwasher was delivered yesterday by Home Depot. We had to wait until today for a couple of Chinese dudes who spoke no English to come in and remove the busted dishwasher and install the new one. This problem took an entire month to be fixed. gently caress landlords.

Whirlpool gang here. I just installed an aftermarket upgrade to my top rack last week. Aside from all of my wife's collection of HAND WASH ONLY water bottles, everything goes through the dishwasher. I ain't no scrub (pun intended).
