As bad as verizon is, that one's actually not their fault. For the past couple generations of iphone, the only way to get an unlocked one is direct through apple. They don't give unlocked ones to any other retailers, though the retailers aren't that mad since they made basically 0 on the phone itself anyway

Fm transmitters are garbo, get a bluetooth adapter that has a 3.5 output for an aux jack. If you don't have an aux jack look online to see if there's an adapter you can get that plugs into where a cd changer would go on the stock radio, and failing that use a casstte adapter if your car can take tapes or a wired fm modulator if not
