301 hours. I forgot to get a screenshot of the real final hand. I needed to complete another run before the trophy popped. Shame because was a really interesting deck, relying on 4ok wild card kings, a negative eternal flowerpot, and a negative eternal rental blueprint. ![]() I did almost every gold sticker from 50-150 on anaglyph deck. I think that was the right move, and not just because of getting several negatives. Looking for an ante 1 25$ was the way to go, and hopefully getting a good economy tag in ante 2/3 was usually enough to save any run. Anaglyph deck turns any lovely economy tag into a passable one. It turns the "upgrade a hand by three levels" into an auto-win if you're getting it in ante 4/5. Like erratic deck, you get to do broken things when the extra tags create so much value. Draw over half your deck for the final boss using the hand size voucher? Free Chaos the Clown for the next six shops? And then I truly learned to appreciate the re-roll vouchers, not just to find the missing jokers, but in how much money they saved after 1-2 shops. Final jokers totals: ![]() An extra 100 hours and there wasn't a big change, except egg finally going down. I think Odd Todd would be next on the line. Card Sharp being the only uncommon, something which I started always picking up like Hanging Chad. I enjoy building up on one kind of hand (usually pair/two pair) during a run and don't like to pivot out, and Card Sharp played well with that. Easiest way to win with a normal run was finding a mult joker that scored on hands which got pumped up through Chad, then finding another xMult (probably a Throwback or Hologram) and then the final x3 from Card Sharp would beat most antes in 2 hands.

Did a run before bed last night, turns out I had started a Ghost deck run at some point previously. What I figured would be a throwaway run turned into a fairly easy win(all praise to Chad, Card Sharp and Sock/Buskin doing very funny things with red sealed Lucky cards). Now back to the hell of Black Deck

I did my first gold on Ghost deck. Checkered was the next easiest but only up to orange before I started going through decks more sequentially (I got at least white on all decks early on). I've done gold on Blue deck, got lucky with that one. Been working my way up Red deck, on gold stake atm. Easily done 50+ runs on this stake and deck, maybe 100 lmao. Trying to dial in my strategy now. First ante you don't really need any jokers: Small Blind - high straight, flush or full house to one shot - easier on this deck with the extra discard but it's easy enough with the regular 2 Big Blind - one of the above plus something bigger than a two pair Boss - again two big hands can get you over 600 My problem is taking the first +multi joker I see and getting tunnel vision on it, losing out on interest and missing other possible builds before it's too late. Last run I took a foil half joker early which made the first few antes really easy. Got the x-mult pair and 3oak jokers. But the pair one was perishable, that ran out and then it was harder to get the 3oaks. Died to the discard-held-cards-after-playing boss in like 5th ante, killed my steels and you can't really play dump hands once your discards are done, especially not when relying on the half joker. I'm going to try ignoring all jokers except econ for the first ante. But smart about it ofc, Riff Raff is an econ joker for example.

It's definitely one of the stronger deck options, especially if you're going for consistency over high score. It does shut you out of a lot of powerful jokers--and worse, leaves them to clog up the joker pool and crowd out jokers that would actually be useful to you--but the existence of anti-facecard bosses means those are going to be high-risk, high-reward options anyhow.

For context I've beaten Blue deck twice and Green deck once, so please keep in mind that I am a baby player and I don't even know what I don't know. Right now, I'm having trouble optimizing each hand to maximize points. I know that the order of the Jokers and the order of the cards-in-hand matter in terms of multiplier, and I know that I want to have plus-chips and plus-mults on the left, and times-mults on the furthest right. I think I know that there are cases where if I have a Joker or sticker that causes a card to re-trigger, then I want the affected card to be leftmost even if it's a times-mult card. I'm not sure how this applies to cards like Golden Ticket or Midas Mask. I could also really use a calculator that would help make sense of how card value applies in relation to hand value. If I'm playing The Needle the difference between playing a level 3 full house and a level 4 flush, given the cards in hand, can make a real difference. I know that there are variables and it matters what jokers I have and all that, I don't want something that will play the game for me or perfectly optimize my hand, I just want something to help me with the arithmetic other than a legal pad and a calculator. I'm aware that there are entire wikis based around the fine points of all this, but I don't yet have enough game experience to interpret and apply them. Is there a primer out there, or a card calculator, or something that is both comprehensive yet written for idiots that will hold my hand at 2am while I'm -thisclose- to actually winning?

There's no xChips so you can have +Chips in any position. +Mult before xMult is correct, though.
