The California Golden Seals are going to take Connor Bedard I admit this is somewhat of a risk. He's never played an NHL game. But there's two reasons I want to go here: 1) He's 18 and has superstar talent, so I'll have him for a very long time 2) With this rule of taking one player per team, Chicago has very few players worth taking. So if I don't take a Hawk now, I'm probably not taking one until the very end. So getting a high value Hawk pick seems good. Ok, so here is what we are going to do. We all know general managers are all terrible and really only succeed by random luck. So let’s put this to the test. Every pick I will randomly generate a number 1-32. That is the team I pick from in alphabetical order (as teams are taken I re roll if it comes up with a prior team). I will then also flip a coin. Heads: I take the BEST player I feel is on the team Tails: I take the WORST player I feel is on the team It is only through random chance that most NHL teams succeed, and therefore this should be the best way to determine a team.
