Alright, as a new guy to Tier A, I want to make sure I understand a couple things properly.

1) Are players that the remaining 9 teams don't keep added to the supplemental draft, or this is the full list and it won't change, meaning unkept players will just go into the main draft pool?
2) For the list above is that the round they will cost, or it'll be -1? Like would Romeo Doubs cost me an 18th, or a 17th round pick?

1. This is the full list (excluding the chance that a team doesn't come back this year and their players get added to the pool)
2. Penalties, like dkj said, are already applied. Caveat if you take one of the 1+1 guys that extra penalty would need to be applied to another player

My wife sent money to the paypal for some random payment you just received. Also, it seems like all of my other leagues have posted draft dates, so I think any day that is NOT 8/31, 9/3, or 9/5 would work for me for Tier A. I am still trying to wrap my head around the keeper rules, it seems like teams must keep a ton with how elevated the draft spots are.

I think we are just waiting on one team to both check-in and submit keepers to get the supplemental draft moving?

A dumb question, but are promoted teams (or recently joined teams) competitive for Tier A? I took a look at the players kept with a little more detail and I am not sure if the players available for the supplemental draft are much better than many of the individual teams keepers, and they are getting split three ways. There are good players of course, but it is not balanced across positions. I guess it makes sense that teams getting relegated would have have less power in their keepers, but I cannot help thinking that there is almost no chance to win against teams that have been able to accrue keepers for years. It seems like it might be a pretty boring year where you are not really competing for the playoffs, just trying to not get relegated. Are there like 6 teams entrenched into tier A with years worth of keepers and then a rotation of newly joined teams fighting at the bottom? Not trying to be controversial, just my second year in the league and I really have no idea how it works when there are like 20+ RB kept, and the teams with all of the players are often also still getting 1st and/or 2nd rounds picks. Going to be picking something like Brandon Cooks as WR1 at pick 15.

Think of it like the English Premier League. You have about 1/4 megabastards, 1/4 perennial league, and the rest are constantly rotating in/out of relegation.

So are you going to be the next Leicester City of fantasy football?

The real answer is yes you can be competitive, and even have a chance at winning the league. I honestly thought I had a top 2 team going into last year off of a supplemental draft but injuries ate my year.

Yeah I got 2nd last year off the supplemental draft but that did require a lot of luck and strong idp slots. It's definitely rough though and last year benefitted from a 4th person leaving to make the supp draft better but it should be similar ish this time with keepers being locked up prior.
