My sample size is obviously only one...but Silly Burrito you just feel like a crazy anomaly to me. Nobody should be able to lose as many guys as you have and still be in first, and yet you keep managing to do it. I think a more typical outcome would be anyone that lost multiple players to the blue shell is likely to drop down out of first and not continue to lose players.

Yeah, I see each week as a lap and the season as the whole race. I can't imagine losing 8 quality players and still kicking rear end, so be proud of that.

Oh it makes me laugh, honestly. I’ve played in some weird leagues before, so it’s all good. Looking at the standings, I think I’m pretty much going to lose a ninth player next week too. Which will make the first round playoff exit all that more inevitable 😄

That league also has a few extra shells because it's not made up of fantasy diehards like this one, so as a reminder to set lineups, we set a "green shell" penalty: If you start an ineligible player in your lineup, your opponent gets to shell one of your players there next week.

Speaking of my other league, we were tossing around the idea of "spite playoffs" where when you lose in playoffs, you can shell a player from the team that beat you on your way out the door.

My obligation ended at 9PM. That trade was initiated at 9:23PM. I would actually prefer Achane over Warren, so I accepted it. Works for me. I'll reverse it if the commish wants, but I'm fine with it.

I guess the two of you agreed to do this instead? That seems fine to me in principle, but... I think that means that second last place (me) gets to blue shell Toad Gurley - if I'm reading the rules right. The blue shell is supposed to be thrown. If Toad didn't realize that I'd be fine with them getting another chance to shell.

The only problem here is that if this is a normal trade and not a shell, then that means the second-to-last place team (Bullet Hill) is now eligible to take a player from Dr. Donkeypunch's team since he didn't throw before deadline. However, I'm not going to be a dick over 23 minutes, so I'm going to leave it up to Donkeypunch. If that's meant as a shell, it's an ineligible one and it has to be reversed and you have to choose a new one. (You could make a separate trade for Warren afterwards though) If Donkeypunch wants it to stand as a normal trade, it can stand but now he can potentially get shelled. Well this is a great development for me. Lot of good options on Toad's team but I think Kelce is the biggest overall upgrade to my roster even if he's not the best guy available. Just sent Engram for Kelce.

I do have a question. If next week we still have a shell, but only the last place team that is still alive can throw a shell, you’re essentially going to have #4 throwing a shell at #1 and then immediately playing that player against #1 that week. Do I have that right?
