my best guess is that each clan has slightly different dueling mechanics, people sharing the same dueling mechanics are probably of the same clan

for future reference, vanilla town is kind of a "rare to see it" role in most role madness games

cena's yeti game was full of vanilla town, but that is very much not common -- in the last 3 months, i've only seen 2 games featuring vanilla town (cena's game, and another "explicitly this is a simple game" game -- the blind assassin)

when you duel, 1 coin is flipped

if you bet 1 ki, 2 coins are flipped

its 1 coin + n (number of ki bet)

if i bet 0, and you bet 5, i flip 1 coin and you flip 6... if you get more heads on your coin flips than i do, you win

so, if i bet 0 and win my coin toss, and you bet 5 and lose all 6 coin tosses... you lose the duel! but that's unlikely to happen, obviously

yeah, you could still bruteforce a daykill on someone purely by them running out of ki and then being unlikely to win further duels because of it, it just wouldn't be guaranteed or anything
