MICHAEL MILSTEIN: Everyone actually understands that if you build something in E1, it means that your basic aim is that there will be no Palestinian state in the future.

Analyst Milstein says ultra-right-wing religious ministers like Smotrich have enormous sway in the government. Netanyahu needs them to stay in power, and they're using the opportunity to reclaim all the land of biblical Israel.

MILSTEIN: Because of really crazy political conditions, Bezalel Smotrich, he's the one who actually leads the policy not only regarding the West Bank, but also about occupying Gaza City.

NORTHAM: Building is expected to begin on E1 in the coming year, and the government just approved another 17 settlements.

Israeli "aid distribution" from day one has been a bunch of bullshit political lies whose sole purpose was to hijack the infrastructure and conversation of existing, working-ish aid distribution efforts so they can be destroyed as functional entities. Food and medicine was actually making its way to people that needed it and that was inconvenient to the efforts to have them die of starvation and disease instead of needing to directly murder them, and Israel was getting poo poo for directly blocking the shipments. It can't be their fault if they're not blocking the shipments with armed gunmen at the border. When it's stopped with paperwork and politics well then nobody could have known this would happen when we made exactly this happen. We're just going to have to take six months making sure one grain of rice at a time isn't a Hamas terrorist weapon.

Fascists do not need to have any internal logic.

Despite their love of screaming "FACTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS" they are run 100% by tummy feelgood. Israel gives them tummy feelgood by punishing those awful bestial arabs, therefore they'll chant in support of Israel. They are roughly less intelligent by dogs and in the same way easily led by any kind of praise, especially the unearned kind(another reason to love Israel when Netanyahu calls Trump their biggest bestest strongest friend, the fascists feel that love and praise radiating on to them), and you could similarly probably get them to run confused in circles by pretending to throw a ball but actually hiding it behind your back.

It's also a prominent example of a fairly explicit ethnostate, exactly what the Nazis are rhetorically arguing for as a facade over their less palatable exterminationist rhetoric, ignoring the lingering vestiges of the sometimes-sincere accommodations more liberal governments past made for Palestinian and Bedouin communities who remained on the Israeli side of the border after the expulsions.

You need to remember that a lot of our nazis aren't actual National Socialist fascists. Many of them are MAGAts or Christofascists. Some of them might cosplay as German Nazis, or be Klansmen or Neoconfederates. Awful people all, but this means that they won't monolithically hate any one given race, and may or may not be on board with the national socialist platform of genociding one specific group of people. So calling our assholes nazis might be a useful shorthand, but it shouldn't be considered prescriptive or even necessarily descriptive of their policy goals.
