Mom is still alive and I keep her company. Dad passed in 2021. They were married for 51 years and knew each other longer than that.

they are not and it took me a long time to be okay with and allow myself to grieve them if anyone needs to hear it, i really turned a page when i heard the phrase "grief is just love with no place to go" and realized that all of my feelings and emotions around the loss was rooted in love. that was powerful to me. so i allowed myself to feel it in a different way, a way enveloped in love and not pain or sorrow or anguish. and then i found that all of that love is still there, and now i can be mindful to give it somewhere to go, i can apply that love to the people and things i care about in whatever way i possibly can. annyway thats my mom and dad dead so what post i hope someone can find something in there that can help them if they need it
