FTR my day 1 scum picks: Hal, EGalz, maybe Cube.

Hal for the "cool role" bit then backing off it by saying it's role madness--so yeah, we all have cool roles.
Egalz for some really strained puns, trying too hard.
Cube for suggesting beet shoot me.

This is because of the mod note that Hal and Shwinn inspired this game. It doesn't mean I think Hal is innocent.

I don't think he's innocent because this

Conversely it could be a stroke of genius.

Ooh I said why I was unvoting him. If he was the inspiration for the game, or half of it, or the spark or whatever, it seems kinda shady to try to vote him out D1. He is not the only scum.

My assessment of this day: hambeet said he had a dayvig, Cube seems bent on getting beet to use it. On him. Wologar leapt and was caught by three players. Cube made a subtle claim that pretty much seemed aimed at folks who were also playing another game with him. Stalinator begged people to sing opera so he could get their abilities.

I may have been skimming. I am certainly not going to go looking into other games.

Mr. and/or Ms. Bread, it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance. I don't believe we've had the opportunity to play together yet. However, I've a query for you! Were you to be part of that dastardly scum faction, whomst would ye decide to night kill tonight? This decision is of grave importance.

I keep looking at this and I have questions. Why, for instance, is this query directed to someone Cube hasn't played with before? What if 50 had been playing and had answered it? It sure seemed like more than a getting-to-know-you kind of question. And there is something about the stilted diction that bugged me although possibly that's just Cube doing an RP thing.

Also Cube posed this question an hour after the game had started. I don't know, when I'm scum I sure haven't decided who to kill at night at that point in the game. It seems like when I've been scum we haven't even talked about it in scumchat until much later in the day so it's not just me.

So the question, the player it was directed to, and the timing all give me questions about Cube's motivation. So it was not just a question but apparently meant to signal something. Cube then posed the same questiion to 50's replacement, Iggy, who answered it.

As a question to signal something, I missed it. Others picked it up. A doc or doc-adjacent claim? Who makes those? (Not sure what "doc-adjacent" is anyway.) There is no percentage in claiming doc at this point in the game, or at any point IMO. Why be so obvious (yeah okay I said it wasn't obvious to me but let's ignore that for now). Why not just play the cop/doc/vig game here if you want info?

I'm rambling, I guess, but this along with many of Cube's other posts is just bugging me. It's really making me want to vote Cube.

He might do that anyway.

So what do y'all think about performing something operatic for Stalin?

I had a stroke of inspiration. There IS something operatic I could do. It's not really musical, unless you count percussion as music. The costume is kind of a problem though. I'll have to think about it. Like, is the costume really necessary? It seems kind of integral, but maybe not. It sure wouldn't be my "opera voice" cuz I don't have one.

Case for voting Illu: Omgus, bad case on me, coasted most of day 1 and then came in kinda feebly.
Case against: Could have continued to lay low, had no pressure, started vote on innocent player which would be kinda bad look if I flipped.
