Interesting I thought the same thing when I looked at the item list. I was like hmm well that is a guaranteed success at least.

I did not explicitly claim inventor but yes I am an inventor. I almost gave an item to Cube N0 but changed my mind and then felt bad cos he almost won Pridefia. So I responded to him there. If I were to give Cube an item I�d want it to be something he finds useful.

I also think there are a lot of inventors in the game and that my items aren�t very good. I bet someone else gives out better items~

Ok, I'm actually reading this thread now.

shwinn is stuck on me saying I don't agree with policy voting him. His tone feels similar to the game we were in where he was right about MQ.

If the inventors had an inventory of items to start with and chose which ones to give out (normal inventor stuff), then mods couldn't garantee that there was no repeats in a given night unless there was some sort of de-duping mechanic on night item gifting causing duplicate items to be lost or returned, which would be a bad-feels mechanic and some sort of annoying queue or priority system that would be a huge mod headache.

What makes more sense for game flow would be the inventors are told which item they crafted or magicked in the night, or even a map of you get x n0, y n1, etc, and they just choose who they give them to. That would garantee to have no dupes in a given night.

So, yuming asking

Only fits with a regular inventor assumption, of having a list of gadgets to pass out, not one who can only give out a certain item each night. Not with the modified inventor item stuff I just theorized and now believe wholeheartedly.

N0 I was told what item I had to give and then I picked who gets it.

I think I am a weak-inventor. There must be a better town inventor in the game :wink:
