People bitch and moan about modern television being a series of continuations and spin-offs. While those people may be right, let's look on the other side: what TV show that once was deserves a new lease on life? My choice is the StoryTeller. I adored the balancing act of using weird old folk stories to scare kids while still using Muppets. I know there was talk years ago about the Jim Henson Company bringing it back, but nothing ever came of it.

I remember really enjoying Double Dare as a kid. I think children from any era would be entertained by seeing people go down slides full of multi-colored whipped cream.

Animorphs. Today's CGI could make it really cool I think. There's also a decent amount of content to draw from between the main books and the Chronicles. I think Applegate dropped out on the most recent attempt to reboot though which seems like a bad sign. Maybe someone will figure it out because there's a ton of millennials ripe for the nostalgia bux, probably including me. I don't know if this really counts since it was originally a series of books but it's my answer and I'm sticking to it.

Super sexy teen drama Babylon 5 reboot on CW where they are all child soldiers because of the Minbari War Alien Nation retuned for the age of MAGA Space: Above and Beyond: After the Conflict. Follow a bunch of ex-sailors with crippling PTSD and a hatred of "Chiggers" (I still can't believe that the network let that fly, even in the '90s) as they try to reintegrate into civilian life. Continuum 2: GoT style intrigue where multiple factions try to bring their future into fruition Silders -- TNG: A nice episodic show about possible realities that reflect on the concerns of our time. The Simpsons: A great show about a working class family dealing with relatable, realistic struggles. NOW WITH CELEBRITY CAMEOS Nazi Supermen Are Our Superiors: Hedge bet for Trump winning in the next election.

I mean, The Twilight Zone has been rebooted twice already (the ‘80s version which was good and the recent Jordan Peele version which I haven’t seen but hear is bad). The Outer Limits was also rebooted in the ‘90s. Agreed about Tales from the Crypt and practical effects. Also, Tales from the Darkside needs to return.
