RetroAchievements is some good poo poo and I'm glad to see it growing https://retroachievements.org/user/GoodSoup I don't do a huge amount of gunning for cheevs, but I make exceptions for a handful of games like every doom port and Resident Evil 2. The PSX set for the latter has some fun challenges like beating the game without killing any zombies (lol) and not using any of the shortcuts the game provides like the ladder in the main hall. It's a nice way to keep track of a backlog and what you've finished or need to finish and the added bonuses of seeing numbers go up and leaderboards and such are cool

Also, remember that for every few thousand points you get, you can put in a request for another game My current list  Timesplitters is purely for nostalgia but I'd love to have another reason to play through AC4 and REmake  Never played Aconcagua but I'd like to see that get a set, too, just for completion's sake

There are a few ways: In the menu at the top where you can navigate to each system, there is a link under Miscellaneous for Most Requested Sets. Self explanatory but you can see which games have the most requests and throw another one on the pile and see if a personal favorite is in there You can also use the search function by typing in a title and making sure it gives you results that includes Games Without Achievements or however it's phrased. Go the the game's individual page and look under Set Requests. Select the box to Request Set. You can also go back to the page and undo it with Withdraw Request I think you get requests every 2k-3k hardcore points??? Something along those lines

There are groups working on adding support for various systems but its (mostly) regular people with jobs and poo poo so it will take some time to figure out stuff like the Wii, Xbox, etc One of the biggest challenges I've read has to do with DOS games. There is understandably a huge number of people that would love to see DOSbox support but because of the nature of PC's during that era, they have to figure out a way to standardize the performance settings and do as much to discourage the use of cheats/outside programs/weird boot disk shenanigans/etc. IIRC, one of the long time devs said they're exploring different methods like launching games from within self contained archives like zips and some sort of walled approach to launching and running them, but obviously there is an absurd number of system requirements across an equally absurd number of games and more variables to consider than just a console would have lol fingers crossed, would love to 100% space quest 4 and hear gary owens mock me over and over
