No, I am the president

I am big P

I think binus may be trying to protect me with a fake claim, but there's no need. Scum are too cowardly to shoot
![]() |
Scum are born cowards who can only skulk around at night, but slink back into the shadows come day time. They can't and won't take the shot even though it may win them the game

Imo cube and shell are scum this game
![]() |
But I think the right move might be to no exe here?
![]() |
I think a miss exe d1 has good chances of outright losing us the game in this setup
![]() |
That's true
![]() |
But a miss exe d1 means that a 5 town 2 scum balance turns into a 3 town 2 scum setup d2, at which point the sniper shoots an either wins the game or proceeds into a 1 scum 2 town n2 with no protecting roles, leading into 1 scum 1 town d3 and default loss for town
![]() |
This is also a zero info role game

Shellception posted:Wrong. If shooting doesn't end the day (and why would it?) scum shooting a bomb D2 in your scenario makes it a 1 scum 2 town D2. What was LYLO is still LYLO. Okay this is correct
![]() |
Let me revise, the above scenario leaves us in a zero info 2 town 1 scum d2. That's a pure coin toss
![]() |
So it's a pure zero info lylo
![]() |
I am still leaning towards no exe but that correction made me reconsider
![]() |

I no longer think shell is scum But I am now 80% Iggy is scum, as town Meen woud have interjected in that discussion for sure

Might this be the long awaited meen cube scum teamup?

wologar posted:How do people know you're town? Is this a genuine scum slip?
![]() |

Please limit your scumslips to one poster per page please
![]() |
There can't possibly be 3 scum, so one of shell meen and wologar needs to recheck the rules and/or their roles

Just so everyone is on the same page, all town knows who the president is, and all president claims in thread are performative taunts to scum or jokes
![]() |
If all town just collectively agrees not to ever vote the president under amy circumstances (and again, only town knows who the oresident is) scum will be put in a very harsh position
![]() |
That way, if scum accidentally vote the president they'll be instantly exposed to all true town
![]() |
Shellception posted:You know, this might work if we keep it to D1 and we don't get someone who just rapidfires votes without reading or some poo poo. D2 it'd probably be too risky of a pattern, but I'm up for trying it today. To make this work, we must also ensure everyone actually votes someone and chuck the non voters

Hal Incandenza posted:How does this plan not end with scum day kill murdering the president before we can do anything about it, what am I missing It's easy, we must all follow this plan without stating out loud when we catch the scum for voting the president.
![]() |
There needs to be a silent understanding that's only possible in this game because town has a crucial piece of information scum lacks
![]() |
Another, even stronger option would be to set up a voting circle to each vote a different person, except the president and not reveal when the scum is inevitably, inescapably caught
![]() |
A -> B -> C -> A President is A. Scum is C
![]() |
Our strength in this game is that the moment the plan is implemented, everyone should have one vote on them, including the president, so scum won't know who the president is but everyone knows who they are
![]() |
Again, there is no need to publically announce scum has been caught
![]() |

Hal Incandenza posted:Don’t we have to vote them? Maybe I really missed some mechanic here Sure, we have to vote them. Eventually But before that we can freely hunt for the second scum, already knowing the first scum's identity, without either of them knowing we know

Ignatius M. Meen posted:From time to time, there are arguments that can be made in favor of leaving known scum alive; Umineko 1 and 2 for instance. This game does not have anything like that going on that makes it even arguably in town's favor to hold back at all on caught scum. There's an extremely strong incentive to yeet anybody who gets caught out either for not realizing I'm the President or otherwise immediately, in fact, because exactly one of two scum players is the sniper and if they get tossed before they can shoot someone, then scum is left with only the night kill as a means to be able to catch the President. The only sane reason to argue against aiming for that is if you're scum yourself and know your gambit only has to last a little bit before it pays off.

Ignatius M. Meen posted:You seem to have missed the part where I'm not voting you anymore. My reads changed and while I could still vote you I'm only doing it under duress because Fancy is right there, suggesting a plan that lets caught scum live where that will hurt town Catching scum using my plan and instantly voting them out would expose the president, and not recognising this is a massive ping
