None of those reports seem to suggest any real interest from the Yankees or Cubs. At least beyond “yeah we’d like Tucker”. It’s just a list of Houston’s wants. I dunno. This whole thing just feels like a team manipulating the media at the winter meetings bar to try and create a blockbuster trade out of innuendo and pressure.

Between Happ, PCA, Seiya, Belli, and Busch someone is probably gonna be dinged up or slumping for most of the year so keeping them all is fine imho. Now if they get a haul for Belli or Seiya so much the better, but I really don't like the narrative that they "need" to move a bat. Also happy that none of these rumors is mentioning Nico
