I still get do not report alerts from Fort Drum in my gmail since I can't be bothered to email the alert help desk and tell them to take me off their list. It always brings back memories of going out to the barracks parking lot at midnight to dig my car out so that when I came back out at like 0900 I only had to deal with 1-2 feet of snow instead of 3-4.

Putin's aspirations of being a pole in a multi-polar world will take another hit. Maybe the blowback could even reach him. For Syria itself, the thing to watch will be greater Turkish engagement.
