The Election Day is fast approaching. After you vote what are your plans to torture yourselves for results? Work has given it as a holiday however I have already early voted. I plan to have copious amounts of bourbon and tequila then cap it off with cheesy bread, wings, jojos as I go into midnight watching results with the parents and have arguments. What about you?

I'm gonna vote day of, probably around the sweet spot of 10:14AM. I'll chat up everyone down at the town office as I've come to expect them for me to do so when I show up (I was there this week and had the whole office enthralled and engaged of course). I dress in my redneck cosplay outfit and I sorta fit in, but of course I will never fit in. I will spend the rest of the day praying for the future of this poor misguided and confused world.

Voted early, so I'll have all that time to play the switch update of Stardew Valley, with friends if I can. Since it's Tuesday, I might get tacos from the taqueria or something, but I'll put the alcohol on hold, it'll be either celebration drink or backup for emergency medical/molotov purposes when America goes to poo poo.

Going to sit in my cube in the morning wondering how all these government employees are voting for the party who hates government and then ride around in my truck all day listening to wrestling podcasts and avoiding any media. And when the polls close, I will be grateful that I will no longer be bombarded with Amendment 4 child rape commercials for two years until they try to overturn it/try to pass it again in 2026.

I'm from Canada and don't get to vote. Well, I guess I could cross the border illegally and claim to be a transsexual black child (I'm actaully a hetero sexual white guy but "they" don't care) and then vote multiple times, but I probably won't do that. Anywho, Being in Canada I'm probably going to wait for the waves of refugees to come across the border and hope that no bullets or missiles stray across the border and kill anyone that I like once the civil war starts. Of course I don't really care if they (missiles, bullets etc..) kill people I don't like.

The current flag is boring - blue background with the state seal. Truly indistinguishable from a dozen other states. So I like the idea of changing to something better in concept. But the selection they came up with? I don't like it. As to why? It's a citizen's initiative, something that generates a lot of odd voting choices. We obviously have way more important matters to deal with, but someone put in the effort to get it on the ballot over many years, so here we are.

I am an American citizen who lives in Western Europe so I will get up at like 4am and see what's happening. Other than taking my kid to school and picking him up I will probably be glued to the TV/Trump thread all day while my husband rolls his eyes.

i already voted and i have a strong feeling we will not know the actual results of this election until several days or weeks after it happens and that it will likely come down to some court case about some kind of fuckery in one specific county in pennsylvania or some poo poo so im going to try to focus on work and not looking at the internet, but will likely fail in that endeavor
