Idk how common (non modified) suspensions punch through the frame of the car, seems like if you were competently designing something you’d have some less expensive component fail like the tires popping or the wheels breaking (and hopefully taking some of the energy out of the impact? Idk how physics works) before the entire thing makes itself at home in the cabin of the car

It’s especially stupid because a big industrial looking panel that you could unlock with a backup key with all kinds of switches and plugs would absolutely fit the aesthetic of the vehicle but nah tucked behind the wheel is fine

tangentially related to musk, I saw this video in my recommendations, doug demuro can be a little annoying but this car was interesting to me: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XX3rRntdyYc The most interesting part is the price point (in china): 40-45k, which seems like it would be really competitive if if was sold in the US. So I'm curious why it isn't sold here; I have no idea what it takes to sell a car in the states but I am 100% confident this is better put together than the cyber truck and probably the rest of tesla's lineup for about the cost of the cheapest car they offer

I exported like 100,000 rows of data from our data warehouse as a csv and joined it with some local stuff in pandas using sql and my hard drive is still in once piece, Elon please hire me if salt fish doesn’t work out
