I broadly agree with everything there but replace "weird dork finds it and now there's a whole clan" with "klan" for accuracy like the theory was the whole "digital village " hippy thing as a sort of leveller due to the assumption that what are classed as liberal values or even basic "don't be racist actually ' would naturally rise to the top but in actual fact it has balkanised into areas such that if you are a racist yot can just move to the racist digital village and be like "hey these guys get me!" Instead of being put in the equivalent of the stocks in the town square and having poo poo thrown at you so I would say that overall it is bad except for maybe some aspects of e-commerce, posting, my posts, and idk...
