I'm gonna get the bird a nice cage and some food and toys and put up signs everywhere to find its owner and give it lots of love and attention until the owner is found unless they're a lovely owner in which case I may take the bird in myself or rehome it with a loving family, depending on the required level of care and my ability to meet said level.

I saved a budgie from some lovely pet store it was by itself I was a couple towns over from work coming home stopped in for cat food, little dude was in bad shape by himself, never owned a bird never wanted to, bought that guy I’ve worked from home for a while now and he just is crushing it, sits with me while I work, flies around, loves edm when my wife is working out, loves hanging out with the kid, feathers looking majestic not dirty broken and clipped Gonna be sad when this bird dies

Nah usually in his cage or his perch which has a tray and whatnot below it But if you’re not ok with some stray bullets and cleaning them up birbs might not be for you
