I recall the first time a very baby goonfleet of maybe 20 people raided Syndicate, and we (Black Omega) ended up taking them under our wing, helping to turn it into the absolute eve destroying juggernaut it was. I maintain that this is one of the most hilarious things to ever happen in gaming. The old guard alliances, who we were mostly already at war with anyway after the breakdown of 5ive, absolutely hated that poo poo. Also I'm still irl friends with Suas/Kia Tolon and he's eve free and doing good.

As mentioned earlier, I know Tolon/Suas irl and he is both sober and eve free, amazingly. Definitely who you're thinking of though.
