Would be funny if Hal and Lois's social engineering plan for Malcolm completely backfired and without any industry contacts and easy opportunities offered him passed by he is now virtually unemployable and is saddled with mountains of debt for several college degrees that turned out to be useless

Malcom in the middle resonated a bunch here in Mexico because for once families with a bunch of kids struggling to make ends meet were having some representation on TV, all of the woes the 3 brothers have had to go through like sharing hand me down clothes, struggling for more food and space to sleep, all of that is common place with families here. I bet all the youngest kids in the families who saw Malcolm have a very dear spot for Dewey hahaha I mean SOMETHING has to explain the outbursts of Deweys every halloween:
