there are some mods for Planescape: Torment I recommend before getting started this Restoration mod fixes some minor issues and restores some cut content from the game this Dialogue Portraits mod adds a little portrait next to the dialogue window when you're talking to someone, adding a little visual flavor from the bestiary when you're talking to all the gross zombies. I really recommend this one this Dialogue Tags mod adds a little tag before dialogue choices that will review a stat when determining success, like more modern CRPGs have

: Escape the Mortuary I set off the alarm and turned everyone in Mortuary hostile by walking up to a guard and asking if he could show me to the exit, which seemed worth a shot. Killed a bunch of dustmen and undead and then got one-shotted by a giant skeleton. After waking back up on the slab I asked a different guard if he could show me to the exit and that time it worked.
