Lexi finally realizing "Oh, Suzie is me if I didn't get hooked on drugs" was pretty sweet. I did love the gag of Lexi saying "Suzie has techniques I don't!" And cut to Suzie duct taping a plastic bag on her mom's head. My wife, MIL and myself are guessing Suzie's mom has some sort of health condition going on

Queens can arbitrarily do well or bad because family resemblance is too much/not enough. The judging always sucks but the challenge itself is always fun so *shrug* The last couple episodes made me really like Lexi and I hate that for me.

I'm not a massive Lexi fan tbh, and I don't think that was at all helped with the free ride she got through snatch game (not that it was her fault she got a free ride, but I still hated how it all went down - her snatch game was horrible). I am known for being rotted and hateful though, so perhaps it's no surprise Hopefully she can come back for an all-stars in future and be less focussed on what everyone else is doing (Susie) and more focussed on herself and her drag

Finally saw the episode and near cried at all the love shown. Proper pronouns and supportive dads to drag queens really made my heart squeeze with joy. I am also happy and sad about Salchicha. Happy, because she was fierce, but sad because I won't get to see another queen on the Ru stage with that name and it is SO BRILLIANT. To those who didn't get the joke, Salchicha is sausage, but Chiches are boobs and the way they were saying it was really giving both vibes.

The dual Suzie and Lexie Mom experience is a whole lot to process. Kids trying their best with parents who have their own issues. I also can’t imagine how it must feel to be their mothers, believe you’re supporting your child in the best way you know how, and then be surrounded by parents who are doing suuuuch a better job than you.

Gosh you articulated this so well When Suzie's mum was talking to Sam's mum, and when asked if she attended any drag shows Suzie's mum said something like "I've attended all Suzie's musicals" you could sense the disconnect, or discomfort, or something. Suzie made such a valiant effort being so upbeat all the time, but it felt challenging. Her mum did a great job and it turned out beautifully, but that was such a stark contrast

It really shows how much things have changed (while being still so precarious!) that every single queen had one of their parents show up. That was definitely not the case 17 years ago. It's really beautiful (and one of the rare times you can see Rupaul being genuinely moved). Glad they had the double shantay. I started this season not especially feeling any of them, except maybe Lexi. But now I have a lot of affection for all the remaining queens. I was wondering the whole time if the OG Suzie had some sort of chronic illness or if she was on tranquilizers. She definitely had a weird affect. Very happy to see it come all together on stage though, they were very cute together.

I was confused by that whole maxi challenge. What was even happening? I think they tried to cram too much in with the Latrice interviews, and we missed out on choreography struggles and direction for the Vegas promo thing (I've never been to Vegas, so I'm not even sure I understood what the videos were for). -Sam- was a bottom over -Lexi-?
