While this season’s Lalaparuza was good, I still felt the need to watch last season’s because it was so much better narratively and I still feel like the lipsyncs were better. I think the queens were done a disservice with there not being an audience like there was for last season.

I also have to say Suzi wistfully lipsyncing to Liza with a Z from the audience was a great moment and one moment that made me laugh out loud was when one girl did a reveal doing a rip sync and Hormona just went “oh!” in mild shock. Like it just so funny how nothing the reaction was. EDIT: in the middle of my Season 16 lalaparuza lipsync and my god, Morphine or Megami would’ve swept the floor with this season’s queens. I see that "boycott Starbucks" is trending and i'm assuming it's for giving $50,000 to Suzie Toot I'm kidding, she was great, and she's never looked better. Ditch the clown, stick with Chappell Roan vibes. Kori was wise to save her one reveal for the finale, but then it was a bit of a letdown because it was so blindingly obviously coming all night (and had been upstaged by Lucky's titty reveal earlier). Maybe if she had revealed some kind of fun/cute pasties or tassels or something, but it fell pretty flat for me and let down her good performances all night. I do think she lost to Arietty, but I'm not shedding any tears over the decision. All in all, yet another episode of "I really thought Kori was going to bring something interesting. I guess they may have their own. I am glad Suzie won and she looked hot when she let the hair down and funny singing along to Liza with a Z. The second and third I was rooting for was both Kori and Lydia (no particular order). I am really glad Hormona left quickly - She just irritates the hell out of me for some reason. I haven't really read anything about her because well I don't want to. Was this episode filmed a while after the last? - because it seemed Suzie had time to see what was being said about her so it didn't seem like it was filmed the next day.

Completely agree with another goon's words earlier. These S16 girls woulda been SMOKED by Mh'iya, Morphine, or Megami. They just could not time reveals on the beat; it was just a race to take poo poo off as fast as possible! I so wanted Kori to go up against Joella again just because I loved how Joella phrased, "The Kingdom may have won the battle, but the Dynasty will win the war!" It gave serious videogame vibes. Much love to Suzi, she did the drat thing. Between basketball titties and tear-away to titties, she still won!
