Anyways I don't talk about something awful, there's no need to in my day to day work life; we are a diverse group of individuals with different life experiences and are all capable of existing outside of the internet, despite the younger ones definitely subsisting on the net more than me. But I doubt the hours are different, while I don't doom scroll IG or TikTok, I do doomscroll the forums. Or spend hours on various from soft wikis because it's one of the few things I can actually focus on. I can't focus on news or world events because ANYWAYS....yeah...gooning. I was upset when I first saw that term on the internet to start taking on a different meaning, but I accepted it as a part of life.

I just tell people I'm part of an ancient secret society that used to control the internet, puppeting it to our whims, but the over the years it's time passed by, and now it aged and dying members just impotently stare out at the internet at large as it carries on with out them, as they sit reminisces upon happy bygone ages, now gone forever.
