discord does all out-of-thread communications. masonries/scumchat will be a shared channel with other players, and confessional is for submitting your actions / asking the mod questions / yelling at the mod / mugging for an imaginary camera in front of the spoiled obs / keeping notes to try and figure out who scum / having a private meltdown because somebody called you a funny name in the thread

which of these you use your confessional for is up to you! but you'll at least be submitting actions there

late to this but afaik the only reason votefinder couldn't parse that vote is because ##vote and ##nightfall were contained within the same [b] tags

if you typed it as:

it should have processed correctly, i think

at the least,

would have definitely worked
