I've been thinking about maybe making a thread on gbs for a while now. This would be my very first gbs thread, so it's pretty exciting. To be honest I feel a little anxious about it, so I thought I'd ask first for some tips to keep in mind before making a thread on gbs

Think about something you know a lot about and might garner some interest from other fellow posters. Talking about your inexperience in posting threads might be a good start since there are also a lot of other bad posters who might take interest in this topic.
