i don't think people really think through what it would mean for the 'somewhere out there is a world just like this except different in X respect', because that would also imply that a) there are also an infinite number of worlds that are just like ours, b) there are an infinite number of universes that are different in X respect and also one single electron is in a slightly different spot, c) repeat b) for every electron in the universe, d) repeat c) infinitely for every possible thing infinity does not exist in reality

i think i'm in pretty good company with this opinion and it's far more reasonable than thinking that literal infinity does exist, which is basically taking a thought exercise for fact
