Jerusalem posted:OR it could be as simple as there was a line in the script or filmed but not included where he specifically told her his ship was called a TARDIS and they later line was a reference back to that! Given the number of times over the years that a production "error" or weird, glossed over plot point/line/noise turns out to be relevant...it's probably not just a cut line But ![]()

TheBigBudgetSequel posted:The reuse of music from the 11th doctor was pretty interesting (and tugged my heartstrings due to my connection to that series seeing as it was my first) Same. Any music from season 5 just hits an emotional center in my brain. My first episode was somehow The Impossible Astronaut after popping my head in to see what my younger sister was watching in BBC America. I went back and binged Season 5 before Day of the Moon aired (terrible unskippable American intro and all thanks to Spectrum On Demand)

The way I remember it's season 4 is that the research assistant had done her studying on some lost moon which tied into all the missing planets season long arc for the Daleks

Narsham posted:Conrad must be the Master of the Land of Fiction. We know he’s a life-long fabulist. The Doctor gave him a lucky coin and he made a wish and now he’s Master of the Land of Fiction putting stories in ye olde think tank. That’s why it’s his world and he thinks he’s invincible. Because this is the story he writes. Didn’t bat an eye at the Doctor’s glimpse of his future? Of course not: he thinks he writes his own destiny. I don't hate this; I don't love it either but I can absolutely see it happening
