Ring movie? We can all agree the hobbits movies were objectively awful, but I’m a goon in my 40s and the fellowship of the ring still to this day is probably one of the best movies and movie experiences I’ve had the pleasure of watching. I know others think return of the king is the best but I have to disagree, what think you friends?

Did anyone else go through a phase in elementary school where you thought riverdance was the loving poo poo? I bet Michael Flatley was slaying puss, just "hey babe check this poo poo out" *clogs all over the bar* *panties drop*

Lord of the Pit is the best Lord of the, OP, the Magic: The Gathering card, the "rare" one you didn't want but you would get anyway when buying the old school magic card packs through revised or whatever it was idk when they stopped making Lord of the Pit because every single other rare one from those early Magic cards is way better. They kept it around BECAUSE it sucked, all the others had to be banned from play for being too good. And if you're buying or playing Magic the Gathering you probably deserve the suffering you bring upon yourself. It's really the perfect metaphor for Magic.

Fellowship is a great movie and I'll put it on in the background every now and then just to hang. I don't really care for Two Towers or RotK, probably because I think Gollum is annoying as gently caress to listen to.

Lord of the rings is best seen as a propaganda piece by the genocidal elves and their monarchist vassals

Anyway, to answer the question, the correct answer is clearly Lord of the Flies.

I remember I watched all three of the extended versions on a single plan flight from LA to Seoul in one go, back to back to back. I'd go with Return of the King because it gets the deepest into the main thick of the story and most important settings. That's my LOTR story.
