Rambalac (I think he's had some personal problems, but I just watch his videos so idk) Bikespeeds (I used to watch a lot, good zen bike cleaning videos, but then they started selling and promoting overpriced grease in their videos so I haven't watched in a while. I get it, they're a bike shop and need to sell stuff to survive, but I don't want to see it in their videos, so idk)

aussie50 was a hoot, destroying washing machines and bush engineering in his backyard. never tried to grift off the videos just did things he found fun. Unfortunately his depression eventually got the best of him but we have the videos still.Croccers posted:L.A. Beast L.A Beast is a treasure too. Most of Youtube can gently caress right off though, sponsored spots, patreons, merch. It's all too much advertising now even if you manage to adblock all/most of it.

The random youtuber you've never heard of before with a small number of subscribers that is quietly producing some great videos. But by their next video their channel will have blown up and the success will have gone to their head, they will have quit their job to do youtube full time, and suddenly their videos will be completely different and suck. That gacha pull is still 75% of the fun of youtube though
