Almost collided with a BMW who failed to give way last night. Offramp from the freeway comes to a main road with a sliplane from an intersecting road adjoining, there is a give way there. I came through the intersection and the BMW just didnt think it should stop for a lowly bike. As i was approaching all i was thinking was "he's gonna stop right? he has to stop, hes not stopping!" Braked hard, sweved and missed the bastard by about 20cm. http://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=-27.551085,153.068019&hl=en&num=1&gl=au&t=m&z=18 BMW was turning from Klumpp rd to Mains road. I've been enjoying riding less and less since my 2500km trip around NSW. I miss driving. My cd player and not getting wet all the time. I think i've had enough. Its not fun anymore. Obviously I don't know what the timeline was in reality, but the point at which you thought "he's gonna stop right?" would be the point at which you should have set up the brakes, and by the time you got to "he has to stop" you should have been applying them.. By the sound of it you just took it for granted that he would stop until a panic brake/swerve was required?

i will admit to slicing tires off by way of the sidewall with a razor blade, and then cutting the bead with a pair of side cutters.

When I was younger we over-inflated a dirt bike tire and shot it with a .308. It was cool, the rim actually survived.

I will admit I tried to cut the tire off a 5.5" wheel, ending with cutting a little slot in the bead area of the wheel by accident. That said, I no longer operate angle grinders or work on bikes while drunk anymore.

Rnickymouse is just out of frame with his Betamax camcorder. Judging by the tire marks on the road and the bullseye on the rock, he had plenty of trade back then as well.
