I am now playing a team of Deadpool/Iron Man/Ammy because her Cold Star assist gives Deadpool a crazy good reset and Iron Man gains a really good incoming character "guard break" setups where you have a whole bunch of options, in addition for just being good to let Iron Man mount pressure. I just got to learn to play her though. She's a really strange character. If things don't work out I can always go back to Doom I guess.

Didn't get to do the tournament last night. Haven't had much chance to play lately but I should be in for next week. SpaceBees what is your Deadpool/Ammy reset and are you using the end combo in L guns + teleport reset?

I really think the favorite to win EVO right now is ChrisG because as far as I know, outside of people who play him regularly, no one really knows how to deal with a really good Morrigan, especially with Doom Missiles. I haven't seen Justin or Combofiend play ChrisG without a fraudulent team for 3/4 of the match, so I'm not sure I'd stand behind that. It seems like a lot of the top players are waiting to bust their poo poo out at EVO

It's an interesting dynamic because it seems like the characters to beat Morrigan are not good against the other top tier characters/teams. Also props to Chris G. Doing getting the motion down is one thing, but being able to do it consistently on demand and to turn it on and off as needed is pretty tough. Did you know it's possible to do it too fast and fly cancel the soul fist before the fireball comes out? Pain in the rear end. Pretty sure Justin has said he doesn't have the execution to do it himself. I wonder if putting Akuma on point was less about the meter and more about giving his arm a break.

Deadpool can do it with Katanarama both on point and as an assist. I think there's a video of someone doing a loving crazy Haggar combo using Katanarama to reset the ground bounce.

That said, the one thing I still consider fairly difficult is recognizing if you already unflew during a super freeze. It's really easy to get tagged by random chaotic flames etc. if you slip up there.
