Are they going to mention Curt Schilling's company going bankrupt and asking for a bailout? Also teh greatest conservative shows article is great quote:The Office: mockery of liberal ideology and political correctness in an office setting, without a liberal laugh track. The main character repeatedly encounters contradictions and absurdities as he tries to conform to liberal expectations. The show was most popular when its humor was conservative, and has declined in quality and popularity as its conservative humor has been diluted. Steve Carell played the main character for 6 years and was denied an Emmy by liberals every time, despite being by far the funniest actor on television.

It's been a while but I remember a lot of the early episodes about political correctness being how the seminars goto poo poo when Steve Carrel's character goes off the book and doesn't stick to the script.

To imply Carrel isn't part of 'liberal hollywood' is enough to make that absurd, but yea the point of the jokes was always 'Michael is such a dumb manbaby that he can't even do a basic meeting without things melting down due entirely to him'. It's...really fitting they see Michael Scott as some kinda Conservative Everyman... Also holy poo poo Pawn Stars. "I can get 2000 bucks from this...I'm gonna offer him 100" the fair free market at work.

Apparently when they were shooting that one story where Kirk kisses Uhura, the first interracial kiss on TV*, the producers wanted to drop the kiss, so racist whackaloons wouldn't be too offended. Shatner and Nichelle Nichols insisted on an actual liplock, even messing up other takes so they wouldn't be used. Best part is, after they ran that episode, with an actual kiss, most of the fan mail was positive stuff, "What's it like to kiss Captain Kirk/Lt. Uhura?", and the only disapproving one said "Normally I'm opposed to mixing races, but I can forgive it when the lady looks like Uhura." So, yeah, Star Trek was nearly forced to censor itself to avoid offending a large segment of society. PC gone mad. * Not really, but good enough for popular history.

Plus isn't the Star Trek Federation some kind of super-liberal collectivist state where there's no money or anything and everyone works for the benefit of society without needing a monetary incentive? The wiki page for it says it's a "post-capitalist" and "utopian socialist" society which seem like things conservatives wouldn't be so cool with. Conversely, the Klingon guys don't let women be leaders and challenge existing leaders to a knife fight in order to determine who's boss. Sounds positively replete with "machismo" to me. I think Conservapedia is backing the wrong nerd hose.

They probably only saw the 1st season TNG episode with Space Africa and VAKSEEN! I am perplexed how these people, who see everything though a filter of Conservative Yes/no function in society, but then I think about it more, they probably all live in small towns and work in small businesses and everyone around them is pretty much the same, so they never have to interact with anyone who would challenge their outlook, whether directly or just by existing.

Honestly it's probably more about the original series of Star Trek where the Federation is pretty poorly defined but they mention credits a few times and the ship isn't run by that French-fag-diplomat. (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

Also there was that one episode where a klingon infiltrated the crew by shaving his eyebrows a little and it was probably a parallel to the red scare. They found him because he had two hearts or something.

Well yeah you're saying the tribble episode was the Klingon infiltrator episode. I thought those were two episodes but now it appears they were one episode. Did they really go back a second time and make the original cast green screened in?

No they used Forest Gump technology to add the DS9 cast into the original episode or filmed scenes with just the DS9 cast. It was a really good episode.

It actually makes quite a bit of sense that they'd like the Yankees, who basically bought several World Series Championships by having way more money to spend on the best players than most other teams. It really fits into their corporatist, capitalism-fellating worldview. I was disappointed that Conservapedia doesn't have an entry for "Moneyball" and the Oakland A's entry is pretty boring. I guess I was hoping for Conservative to call them a bunch of nerds for using Sabermetrics or something.

Greatest Conservative Sports Stars posted:Curt Schilling...led the hopeless Boston Red Sox to a stunning World Series championship in 2004 after defeating the liberal New York Yankees; for an encore he helped Scott Brown win "Kennedy's seat," an even greater upset. New York Yankees posted:The Yankees are also one of the wealthiest teams in all baseball[2], a fact that critics have criticized and fans have lauded. Their payroll has been the league's highest for many years. As of 2008, they have handed out four of the five highest contracts in MLB history. However, it should be noted that this is just indicative of the Yankees adhering to conservative, capitalistic principles. This is evidenced by the fact that the owners of the Yankees, the Steinbrenner family, are prominent conservatives. George Steinbrenner, the teams principle owner up until his passing in 2010, was a major contributoer to President Nixon's campaigns, and was pardoned by the greatest President of the 20th century, Ronald Reagan. Those sneaky Yankees are so liberal they're conservative!
