I love the way in one of the scenes he's shooting at a guy that's got a human shield, gets a perfect headshot on the guy then as he goes to shoot another enemy the npc that was being used as a shield just runs infront of the player and takes the bullet.

Did not know you could parkour around, I am even more excited about it now.

So am I crazy or is amazon not doing release day delivery for this? You'd think if they had their own exclusive preorder bonus that they'd at least try to get it to you on the day it comes out.

This really does look like the next best thing for dinging fella's heads off random stuff in the environment. The first best thing being Def Jam: Fight For New York. Obviously.

Dude, people are allowed to find things somewhat distasteful. I find the level of violence in some of the finishing moves to be a turn off, even though I know they're not actual people. Somebody finding a minigame in a video game where you have animals murder each other for profit to be in poor taste is not out of line for having that opinion. People can like or dislike whatever the hell they want, that's not stupid. Now, not buying Sleeping Dogs and telling everyone how awesome it is? THAT would be stupid.

Finding out about karaoke being in Sleeping Dogs was what really sold me on the game. Luckily, it looks like the man-punching is going to actually be good too! Now there just needs to be a way to have a giant dragon tattoo on your back so I can have Wei be a Kazuma Kiryu cosplayer in addition to the Bruce Lee outfits. Gonna wear that Game of Death tracksuit everywhere. Aww yeah.

The animations, sound effects, details and fluidity are all coming together it seems. My expectations are definitely raised for the final product, it looks great. \/\/ I'm not worked up . but I get that a lot online. Relax man. I don't like cockfighting and I don't want to experience it in a game. Hopefully I can brutalize the cockfighters in the virtual crime world and everything will be okay in the world. I'm not trying to bring up a big social derail. Also you should try being a little less aggressive and rude, it will help.

It made me laugh how in that German playthough, the guy goes into a massage parlor and is obviously disappointed that he's getting a professional massage by a dude. Then in this, the very first thing Wei does after getting a car is get an illegal backroom "massage" from an attractive woman.

A new Sleeping Dogs website has gone up. http://www.nightmarket.sleepingdogs.net/ Bunch of various videos to see, but the Secret Takedown video is accessed by clicking on the flickering neon sign(of the drink), the cleaver, the fuse box, and finally the key in the girl's bra.

One of the previously linked videos has a section where the player stripped down to his boxers, beat up random passers-by, stole some cars and wound up dying in a shoot-out with the cops. So yeah, you can do that. The game lets you compete on-line for most consecutive crotch-shots. It might not be Saints Row but that doesn't mean they're making it impossible to do goofy poo poo.

I understand how they are releasing tons of footage to get people excited about this game since I'm sure it's off most people's radars but I'm starting to avoid the marketing videos cause it feels like it's gonna spoil the poo poo out of the game.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who watched somebody get thrown on a meathook and immediately thought "nope, no way am I doing that". Those guys can all just count themselves lucky that I'm only going to beat them unconscious and throw them over a railing instead of shoving their face into an air conditioner fan blade. You're welcome, criminal underworld.
