Alright, I like t.r.u. to my realigion but god drat 2 chainz album, based on a tru story, is really loving good. not a single bad or boring track (the weakest is probably the first track yuck with lil wayne) and 2 chainz is honestly one of the most versatile and witty rappers i've heard in a minute. poo poo goes

Considering that OF linked up with Action Bronson thanks to Domo Genesis' Alchemist album, No Idols. I'd say that it's a good chance at least the Alchemist album will make it out.

Domo's first mixtape was really good, actually. Got kinda overlooked in all the Tyler hype at the time, but I think it was one of the stronger initial releases (which IMO were all pretty good). His second one was pure garbage though.

And I was starting to cool on Action Bronson, but recently he's been sounding a lot better (or I'm just not as tired of him) and I'm really looking forward to the Alchemist project.

I don't like it as much as Shame, but it's still pretty fire. Especially for an R&B-type hook and the autotune, which is cool but I prefer the super grimy mixtape Gibbs.

Domo is pretty weak on No Idols but the I really like the collabs, especially Action Bronson and Earl, and Alchemist is just wonderful on that tape imo.

You can basically tell a rappers quality by how they respond to nardwuar. Curren$y? Great rapper. Henry rollins? lovely rapper.

The beginning of every Nardwuar interview is great, you can tell the interviewee is like "why the gently caress did my agent do this to me" and then 30 seconds later Nardwuar pulls out some crazy record from the beginning of their career and they're into it.

“The funny part is you ain’t even got to go through Pete Rock to clear cause he don’t even own it,” said the rapper. "Then he comes on Twitter the day after the joint’s released or it’s the same day that it’s released and bodies me like that and bodies my crew like that. And just shits on us like that. That’s foul. Then when we finally get on the phone, we didn’t have a [good] conversation. We weren’t on the phone like ‘Oh, I love you Pete at the end of the day.’ I was hot. My crew was hot. The people who put it together was hot. The record company was hot. He just wasn’t on the phone with me; he was on the phone with six people. Like Pete what’s wrong with you? Going in on us like that. We’re trying to pay homage to you.”

he wanted to use the song but didn't have rights for the Scott or Brown parts so he re-recorded those instead. pretty much theft now that i think about it, no one born before '92 would have listened to that song thinking that he hadn't sampled T.R.O.Y.
