Check out the helmets, Potato Man (absolutely Gough) has three little triangles on each side and Double Daggers (most liikely Ciarin) has a larger, different-shaped hole. Also the armors are totally different.

The DLC cannot come out soon enough. Its hosed up that I'm more excited for some DLC than pretty much any actual game coming out but The Souls is just that goddamned good.

That trailer was better than any game I've played lately, other than Dark Souls. Please hurry up. Oh yeah, a friend and I were talking about Evergrace, one of the PS2 launch games designed by From. After seeing what they did with Demons Souls and Dark Souls, you can really see what they were trying to do back then. It's kind of neat.

Awesome trailer. That is definitely Gough at the end and it is pretty cool to see he actually has some dialogue. I wonder who the woman narrator at the beginning is. I'm thinking it's Ciarin. What does the male narrator say though? "Oolacile has brought the Abyss above [the surface?]" EDIT: \/ Thats probably it, drat crappy headphones. I always assumed it was Seath because - the other gold golem with a chick in it is at the archives - all of Seath's minions are crystallized, except the butterflies - the hydras and the Picassas (purple monsters in the Archives) seem very similar to me. Snake like features, similar projectiles. - Assuming you that SOMETHING happened to Dusk, it's not a leap to think that Seath would have been at fault. Which makes him imprisoning Oolacile and stashing some goons in Darkroot make sense.

I still think you're gonna end up supermaning her in the past - you lock her away and jettison her from her dying world while it goes to poo and gets eaten by a horrible blackness, then you end up freeing her by sheer, paradox filled coincidence in the future. It's too good of a plot point to pass up!

I thought I saw an undead dragon in there as well.

Help me fully pimp out my sorcerer. SL 72 with 40 intelligence and I am about to get the big Hat Logan catalyst/ armor set. I have the moonlight sword and I have twinkling titanite. Will this be able to upgrade this weapon? I feel like I should be using blue titanite to get myself an awesome magical weapon that scales with my stats. Any suggestions? Edit: This is strange. Casting greater soul arrow with my sorcerers catalyst does 453 damage, and Logan's only 449. Granted Sorcerer's catalyst is at 211 mag. adjust, and Logan's at 209, but Logan's has an S magic stat while the Sorcerer catalyst only has an A. I guess you could use an enchanted one early on. But honestly a +15 weapon with a Magic Weapon sorcery on it is better. That is if you have a combat stat of Str/Dex to feed the +15. ^^^^ What he said. I think Logan's becomes more effective at 44 Intelligence, and before that Sorcerer's/Izalith/Beatrice's catalysts are all equal and will yield best results.
