Yep. It was so odd how the Derek Jacobi just became Claw-Claw at the end like that. Pretty cool movie, kinda reminded me of Ken Russel's Gothic in a way.

A few of them look familiar (especially that one with the mucked up shoe), but I don't think I qualify as a full-blown "HK nerd", more of an "HK fan".

For the first one, the shots I chose are indicative of the theme/gimmick of the film. Also it's a Tsui Hark joint, if that helps.

God of Cookery gets nowhere near enough love. Shaolin Soccer and Kung Fu Hustle seem to be well-known and highly regarded, but my favorite Stephen Chow comedy never gets mentioned. Everyone should watch it, but make sure you can get some good takeout first.

Also, Karen Mok is hot as heck and really funny.

Coffy? I'll admit I'm just stabbing the dark here, so if that's not it, I might as well throw Death Race 2000 and The Duellists in as well, even though I'm pretty certain they didn't have electric lighting during the Napoleonic era.

And after all that, it'll be something starring Robert Forster.
