The production is mostly great and far more lush than the minimalist stuff he was rocking over on Marcberg. I think his flow is pretty much unfuckwitable too, and he manages to make some fairly tired subject matter sound fresh based purely off a fantastic lyrical agility.

Pretty sure some of the dudes in captain murphy are OF. Ignoring the similar voices/lyrical content theres straight up shout outs/reprisals of OF lines. Really like the mix tape, production is top notch and makes me want to check out other stuff flying lotus has done. The rapping is also surprisingly solid and the vocal fuckery sounds p. good

I've not heard Captain Murphy, but Daniel Tosh recently mentioned them on an episode of Tosh.0 and showed a picture of the group. Def Tyler and I think Earl were in the pic and I have no clue who the 3rd dude is. That said...I honestly don't know what to make of OF. Maybe I dont get it. Their adult swim show is pretty funny if you like old rejected Jackass bits.
