Honestly, if FFA Regicide wasn't the only actual FFA list I wouldn't cry if they just got rid of it and kept Team Regicide. The mode is so much more fun in team play.

I really like FFA Regicide. It's a lot of fun if you don't take winning too seriously. The luck of the draw in terms of how close the king spawns to you can make it very frustrating if you take it too seriously though. I find it more interesting than normal FFA, as it's one of those rare gametypes where the winner really isn't decided right until the end. If you're losing, you can often have a chance to turn it around. If you're winning, you've got to keep on your toes to keep that lead. Team Regicide is fun, but I don't enjoy it as much.

Oh, yeah, don't get me wrong; I like FFA Regicide as well. It's really fun as an FFA mode. I'd actually love it if they brought in a FFA grab bag list. Regicide, Hill, Infinity Slayer, Oddball, and a few low-weighted gimmick slayer modes (Swords, Rockets, Fiesta, etc.) would be great and provide some decent variety for when we're short-handed. Multi-team having the same grab bag style would be great. Hell, I'd like to see a four/five-player-team playlist with grab bag slayer modes, too. A grab-bag style Team Objective list would be great instead of individual Hill/Ball/Flag lists. It'd tighten up the lists and leave more room for fun, experimental lists. Basically what I'm saying is Halo 4 needs more bags to grab.

Team Regicide is fun and all, but I like FFA Regicide better too, and I'd rather have had FFA Throwback for another week instead. FFA Oddball and KOTH were loads of fun and death, and there weren't too many people that were just playing them for MY KAY DEE ARE like pretty much everyone seems to do for the team variants.TheGreatGildersneeze posted:Basically what I'm saying is Halo 4 needs more bags to grab. The map pack says dont get it if you have the full pass, the pass says get it in the in-game store if you have the ltd edition, and the in-game store doesn't have anything but avatar/gamerpic crap. Should probably be more patient..

If you are going to buy any CoD titles, the Treyarch ones are the ones to get. If you pretend Infinity Ward isn't around anymore, you get a CoD title every 2 years instead of 1 and it's a lot easier on your sanity.

Map pack is available for pass/LE owners now. Just select marketplace from the game's main menu and it will immediately ask you to confirm the download. Edit: it's actually free for everyone right now.

Currently able to do matchmaking with no issues with the free maps. It's nice to benefit from 343's ineptitude for once! I wonder if this was a fuckup or if they couldn't figure out how to distinguish between LE/CE and everyone else so they just threw it up for free. Booties, Fart, and friends: I'll be back on in a moment. I'm having issues with my profile. I keep getting an error from Halo that says "couldn't write to your profile," which also triggers my gamerscore being reset to 0 until I dashboard and all my armor being removed (making me a headless ghoul in a bodysuit). About the time someone on the enemy team sent me a message calling me a hacker I figured out it wasn't only effecting my view of myself and figured I should try recovering my profile. I imagine that, on top of being a hilarious headless man, it would probably be preventing me from gaining XP, achievements, or commendations.
