Weird. Is the VO industry heavily unionized and Atlus isn't part of that or something? It's really weird that the identity would be so hidden. I know actors sometimes use fake names to get around SAG (or whatever) regulations. Is there something similar with the VO industry? Most of the voice actors in the original Playstation release of Metal Gear Solid went under pseudonyms. i.e. James Flinders = Cam Clarke, Carren Learning = Jennifer Hale, etc.

Oh my God, that boss music in Marie's dungeon. I loved the Reincarnation theme the first time I heard it on Youtube, but I didn't know that it was going to be the boss music for that dungeon. Talk about a treat. I chose Amagidyne for Valentine's Day, even though I only had one choice because I am a Now, time to read over all those previous Valentine's Day spoilers

I'm almost sure you couldn't do this in the original game, but I started my New Game+ recently and oh my god, being able to buy armor and weapons you already had at the end of the game just trivializes all of the early boss. I beat the first boss with no trouble whatsoever and her "gently caress you" attack only dealt like 24 damage to Chie, this game is awesome.

The compendium trivializes the entire game if you plan ahead, you can get insane poo poo like debilitate victory cry yoshitsune at the very start of the game.

Well yeah, but if you don't want to spend shitloads on one persona and use those slots early for S. Links then just buy some late game weapons and armor with your remaining yen and you've basically screwed over the first four bosses of the game.

If I scroll through the compendium are all the empty spaces every persona or are there more that don't show up yet? Like it seems like I got every Aeon and I was surprised since I never consciously tried to fuse one. Are the ultimate guys represented by empty spaces too or do you have to max the S.Links first? The extra time in Jan-Feb is less than I thought, don't think I'll be maxing everyone this time (Hanged Man is still 1, worst Arcana) I managed to get 75% without really trying which isn't too bad but I just remembered how much of a pain in the rear end the higher level ones can be. Also tip in case you need a persona of a specific arcana: Fuse 2 persona of the same arcana to get the lower one. So if you fuse the 2nd fool and 3rd fool, you get Izanagi, the first one. If you fuse 2 far apart you get one someone in the middle. Fuse 3 persona of the same arcana to get the higher one as long as it's not a special fusion. If you fuse the 3 lowest fools you will get the 4th fool.

Hey...everyone? This is my first time playing Persona 4 Golden, I bought a Wii U the same day as I bought Persona 4 Golden. I have put more time into Persona 4 Golden than I have my shiny new game console. ... I don't want this game to end, it's too good. I have auto-mataru, auto-maraku, auto-masaku on the same persona I always start with, and Kanji and Teddie can refresh 2 of those so I thought whatever her buffs can't be that useful. At the same time too, Naoto and MC can take advantage of both really well, Yosuke kind of can too but I guess the other teammates not so much. These are the two buffs in the game where you can only self-cast them one at a time because they're so strong and she basically casts it 8 times for you. On top of that you don't really need to think about having a party with buff spells anymore because she'll do a couple of them for you every boss fight. Even with the secret boss getting 2 turns in a row in Golden I think all the endgame buffs they've done are insane and might counterbalance that.

I've been meaning to say, awhile back I made a Yaksini because of the forecast, and I have been getting bunch of shuffles and not to mention skillups for it, and luck with the cards that improve abilities. Is there any reason I should gear towards another Persona? Am I playing this wrong for using a low level Persona up to the much higher levels because of how good its stats have gotten?

You can get by for a while, but base level factors into calculations, and some powerful skills you won't get by magician arcana cards, so you'll want to fuse again. Not immediately, you can easily get through two dungeons on one persona of it's really good, but eventually.

Okay, I just saw "Operation Up Close And Personal." That was... Amazing. I have to love how they made even more scenes for Yosuke to look like an rear end. And I like Yosuke! He's just such a teenager.

Worth mentioning that Magician cards can't actually take you up to the top tier of skills. There are certain skills that only certain Persona are allowed to learn, they can't be transferred through fusion/skillcarded, and there's no way to get them onto a Persona other than the ones that learn those skills. Stuff like Samsara, which is the top level Holy skill only Daisoujou can use, the tier of elemental attacks past -Dyne like Niflheim, stronger than Bufudyne but only Loki gets it, and certain physical skills as well. If you're leveling a low level guy you won't reach that anytime soon but by the time you're reaching endgame you need to fuse specific guys for certain skills. Going back to Arena for a bit, Chie's joke ending is amazing. Couple questions: Finished the first real boss last night, been following the GiantBomb endurance run (only watching the vids of things I've passed) and that first boss looks way more annoying in the PS2 version. Even some mechanics were altered. Is this a difficulty thing (I'm playing on normal) or did they just make changes to all the bosses? Also how is the Anime? I'm considering getting the blurays of it, but I'm wondering if I should finish the game first or if they are even worth it.

Finish the game first, but I'm about halfway through the show and love it so far. It's pretty good. I just scanned an enemy and Rise's line was "Looks like this enemy is BEARY weak to electricity!" Was that in P4 vanilla or did they add new lines for her in battle?
