Well now that we know for certain that Togami is in fact the same Togami from DR1, I'm even more interested in knowing what his deal is. Hiyoko also seems to have some secrets too, or at the least is slightly disturbing. Was I right in thinking she was squishing ants and watching them go *phbbbt* for fun? And I'm glad the Welcome DANGAN Island track wasn't only for the intro video because it's super catchy. Actually, that describes most of the music in this game to be honest. Now I can't wait until we hear the BOX 15/16 equivalents later on. Edit: Togami's art is amazing.

I'm still not convinced it's actually Togami from the first game, after all DR1 had Mukuro as Junko at the beginning. Anyway I think we can add another piece of evidence to the computer program theory after seeing Usami transforming that chicken into a cow! It's the only logical theory I can think of and even then I'm still confused.

Okay, I have to get this off my chest. Bull-loving-poo poo she's a gymnast. She seems too tall and her breasts are too large. That said, Akane seems nice enough, even if she didn't say much. The kid seems like a brat, though. Togami's introduction is as amazing as I hoped it would be. EDIT: Jesus, I'm coming back to this. It's hard for me to get a feel of how the islands are laid out, which has been bugging me. Is it possible to get a small video of you running around? I'd also like to see the side-scroller part in motion, because I don't think I quite get it yet.

I think that the developers definitely wanted us to make comparisons between her and Aoi. I don't care for Saionji, but at least she doesn't ALSO talk in third person. As expected, Togami is also an Heir, but that makes him the third "Heir" type in the cast of DR2. I guess they didn't have that many ideas for new talents. Also as expected, they didn't give a clear hint one way or another about whether it's the same Togami or not. Hey orneronen, could you add the little bios from the stat cards to the post with the character's portraits, please? Thanks. Akane's introduction made me realize that they've been writing down the chest size in the profiles since the first game. Even for males. Saionji's profile seems to note that she likes "Popping things", so I suppose that bubble wrap was used in the translation simply because it's the best popping thing ever? Unless the Japanese really call it ぷちぷち. Now that Togami got introduced properly, I guess it's a good time to share some fan art of him:

Well Now that we have been introduced to everyone, I'm going to take my first impression survivor predictions as we are all assuming that deaths will happen. Guessing that if there is murders that we will have around the same number of survivors so predicting six people. Hinata is my first guess for being the main character. Akane because she is so Aoi like that I just think she will live. Togami because Togami must always live. Gundam because I love him and find him funny as hell Ibuki because I just have a good feeling about her chances. Chiaki because I have good feeling again and the gamer girl is too cute to kill off.

Flat out started laughing when the game told us she's a gymnast, but still at least she's not outright annoying like some of the others. Probably end up being either a Leon and the first to go or a sleeper favorite like Hakagure.

Wikipedia tells me the word was a bubble-wrap trademarked brand name originally, which transformed into the popular word for the general product many years ago.
