The Golden Dawn is actually pretty inspiring. They have food banks, blood drives, classes for women and children to attend, and they even have guards that protect poor neighborhoods. Oh and they are against austerity, liberalism, and internationalism. Of course no one wants to show the good side of these folks.

They even have a Green wing... impressive

Laws about underage drinking vary wildly state to state and even city to city. In many, yes, but not all.

Wow, it's almost as if they have a populist slant, and are actively trying to win the support of the working class most hit by the austerity in a strategy of divide and conquer. What a stunning and surprising move on their parts.

So... They're no different from any other grass roots political party? This may come as a surprise but political party based welfare organizations go back a long time, particularly in regards to socialist oriented parties. In the Wiemar Republic it was not uncommon for there to be multiple different party affiliated welfare groups, sports clubs, music clubs, and other social clubs that catered exclusively to the members of a party in a small cities, particularly in industrial ares like the Ruhr which had a strong communist and social democrat presence. I'm sure you'll find that there are plenty of other Greek parties with their own outreach programs, but they're also very likely to be suppressed by the violent Golden Dawn paramilitary wing.

Also I wouldn't classify "have guards that protect poor neighborhoods" as a good deed as they're more likely to attack ethnic minorities, who by large are the most likely to be inhabitants of poor neighborhoods.

Members of the Ruhr Red Army in Dortmund, formed in reaction to the Kapp Putsch attempt of March, 1920 by parts of the Reichswehr (German Army), along with conservatives and reactionaries.

It's a promotional poster from when the Nazis banned animal vivisection; the placard just behind Goering's head reads "Vivisection is forbidden -Goering." Oddly, considering what a horrible poo poo he was in just about every other possible way, Goering had something of a soft spot for animals and championed a number of measures against animal cruelty throughout the Third Reich.

Of course, all of this pales in comparison with who/what he and the rest of that regime decided were acceptable test subject, after all.

The alarm has been sounded by the Kathimerini newspaper, which reports almost daily brutal attacks and bloody brawls targeting immigrants, both legal and illegal. The paper quotes a surgeon practicing at the Evangelismos hospital in Athens, who says that "during every [12-hour] shift we have to deal with six or seven cases of foreigners who have been attacked and who are suffering from cuts, bruises and often even knife wounds".
