Goosetalk: Geese are a massive problem where I live because our power plant used to keep the lake in town from freezing over in the winter. Everyone hates them but we can't really get rid of them because their subspecies Giant Canada Goose is critically endangered to a few thousand that all live on Silver Lake. We tried to get them to migrate away a few years ago by sending the waste water out of county, but the fuckers keep the lake unfrozen by their combined body heat. They're ridiculously docile though, I've picked a few up before and they didn't attack me. Skip to about 50 seconds into this video to see what an average winter looks like, geesewise.
