Aren't some Subaru's made in the US? Not that buying American helps America. Consumers have very little choice and even when there were concerted efforts to buy American outsourcing was inevitable due to the nature of capitalism and our business culture.

All other models, including the Legacy and Outback models sold outside of NAFTA, are made in Japan. That car is an Impreza and is made in Japan. Subaru's corporate parent Fuji Heavy Industries started life as Nakajima, a prominent maker of warplanes for the Japanese war effort in WW2.
