Does he read the countless creepy Harley Quinn rape things on the internet and go 'man this is hot, but if only she was really Batman! THAT would really get me going!'? Also the other half is just 'he got turned into someone else, ungh yea', so he's just getting off on the base idea of someone switching bodies? I mean, can't he just go to the 80's section of Netflix and beat off to one of the hundreds of Freaky Friday ripoffs?

The artist gets off on women who are actually men, mentally. I wonder where that falls on the Kinsey Scale?

I know half of them imply rape happens after but what does the body switching add? Does he read the countless creepy Harley Quinn rape things on the internet and go 'man this is hot, but if only she was really Batman! THAT would really get me going!'? Not to be too much of a goony computer chair psychologist, but to expand on something I said earlier, the body-switching thing seems to be tied with the general misogyny of the fantasy -- women are sexual objects, need to be barefoot and pregnant, and so on. But there are no actual "women" characters in these stories (note that Harley Quinn and Halle Berry's minds are unaccounted for after the transfer, they might as well not have existed as independent consciousnesses). Nevertheless, to be a woman, and especially for a man to be forced to be a woman, is figured as being incredibly degrading. The ultimate humiliation is for the man-consciousness to begin to believe itself a woman. So it's not just the body-switching itself that gets this artist off, but the gendered power dynamics that inhere in the way he presents the body-switching, and in a very roundabout way it's all kind of homoerotic. I hate that I have the education to notice and articulate these things and the internet to show them to me. But I, like Goku, love tacos.

Honestly it's kinda cute, it reminds me of those "Calvin gives Hobbes to his daughter" comics. I'd post them but I'm on my phone. I'm on the fence about those Arnold ones. Yes, they're awkward to read as all poo poo, but I can at least respect that the author is, for once, not creepy as poo poo. It's like they kind of wanted some characterization or some resolution beyond some of the final episodes of the show (God knows I wasn't happy how it ended when I was younger). It's still awkward and weird, but I'll say it's well-drawn and at least not as creepy as it could be.
