So the WCW Thread brought my attention to this video. Essentially the lead programmer/designer of the lovely WCW games does a retrospective on just what the gently caress happened Business and Programming wise, to make WCW Backstage Assault (and mayhem to a lesser extent) so god awful. Hall's son moving into the house and being able to have a relationship with him again has to be the biggest thing keeping Hall on the road to recovery - you can see how happy he is whenever he gets to spend time with Cody. It's a shame Jake doesn't have someone like that he can reconnect with to keep him on the path as well as it seems to be giving Hall more motivation than any speech by DDP could. Being disconnected from the cheers of the fans and missing his family were two things that Hall mentioned back when he was still a mess as being two of the big issues so it's good to see him integrate both into his recovery in a positive way. I don't think they've shown Jake being in contact with anyone outside of the people in the house yet except that person from rehab or whatever that caused him to break his sobriety. Hopefully his family warms up to him after he makes more progress regardless of how much of a shithead he was in the past and he gets that connection again too.

Jake has a daughter but I suspect things are so hosed up between them that her moving in unlikely. Beyond The Mat made their relationship seem pretty bad.
